The John Baggs Memorial Scholarship and Fund has been started to honor a man who excelled in leadership, teaching, and promoting strong family values. John Baggs, a former head baseball coach at The College of St. Scholastica, passed away in February 2009 after a 4 month battle with a devastating form of cancer. John truly touched the lives of all who were fortunate enough to meet him and his imprint on the community will forever be felt.
